The TouchBy1000 is an access control and time & attendance system.The TouchBy1000 utilizes fingerprint recognition and offers various popular card reader technology options.The TouchBy1000 communicates by RS232, RS485 and TCP/IP. The TouchBy1000 applies a unique Auto-On (Automatic Finger Placement Detection) function to assist users with the best placement of their finger.

System Configuration

Sever Program

Communication between Host & TouchBy1000

• Host ß ->TCP/IP ->TouchBy1000
  Host waits event data from terminal.

• Host ß ->RS485 ->TouchBy1000
• Hostß ->TCP/IP ->TCP/485 Converterß -> RS485 ->TouchBy1000
  Host requests event data to terminal using polling method.

Network configuration

• A host can control 256 terminals using TCP/IP network.
• In case of 485 communication method, a host Rs232 port can connect 16 terminals.
  To expand 485 connectivity, use multi port.

Terminal management

• Communication : Terminal IP, ID, Name set up
• Event data collection and display, event print out
• Display Terminal status, door status, control mode, data down load
• Send control command to Terminal
